Authentic Ecotourism Jungle Experience! We are located in the most biodiverse area in the Planet, the Madidi National Park in Bolivia.

Madidi Jungle Ecolodge is a low-impact rainforest eco-venture created and sustained 100% by indigenous families living in the heart of Bolivia's Madidi National Park. San Jose de Uchupiamonas is a communal land territory that spans 210 thousand hectares of primary rainforest within the Madidi National Park, in the Bolivian Amazon.

The Ecolodge is accessible by boat, a 3.5 hour ride from Rurrenabaque. Our Ecolodge is a prime location for wildlife viewing and serves as the base for a variety of hikes of different intensities. We have designed the Ecolodge in harmony with the environment, preserving the traditional architecture of Amazon cultures, using ancient construction techniques and local materials found in the rainforest. With a maximum capacity of 18 visitors, our exclusive cabins (private/shared bathroom) offer comfort and safety, making your stay in the jungle an enjoyable and pleasant experience.

Madidi Jungle Ecolodge offers boat transportation, comfortable accommodation, and a menu of delicious meals based on traditional rainforest ingredients. We provide a personalized service, facilitating bilingual native guides (English and Spanish), passionate and expert in rainforest interpretation. Our local guides will walk you through the rainforest into a labyrinth of trails where you will enjoy the exotic flora and fauna.

Madidi National Park is one of the most biodiverse areas on the Planet, covering a surface of 1.895.750 hectares (18.957 km2), and is considered by scientists as a "Biodiversity Hotspot". The Tropical Andes has the greatest diversity of endemic species on the planet, including around 6,000 species of vascular plants, over 200 mammal species, and more than 1,000 species of neotropical birds. Rurrenabaque is an atractive beginning for Amazon Jungle Tours. Most visitors choose the Tareche Program 3D/2N or Wabu Program 4D/3N.

At Madidi Jungle Ecolodge, we believe in Responsible Eco-tourism as a tool to support our indigenous families and spread our commitment of respect with nature throughout the globe. Creating a minimal impact on the natural surroundings, guests can go home with a sense of having a memorable experience of being involved in environmentally friendly venture.
