Authentic Amazon Jungle Adventures! We are located in one of the most biodiverse areas on the planet, the Madidi National Park of Bolivia, in the heart of South America.
Madidi Jungle Ecolodge is a low-impact, rainforest eco-venture created and sustained 100% by indigenous people who live in the heart of Bolivia's Madidi National Park. We opened to visitors in early 2011 on community lands of San Jose de Uchupiamonas that span 210,000 hectares of pristine tropical rainforest within Madidi National Park in the Bolivian Amazonia.
The ecolodge is accessible by boat, a 3 hour ride from Rurrenabaque. It's located in a prime location for seeing a wealth of wildlife and serves as the base for a variety of hikes of different lengths. We have designed the ecolodge in harmony with the environment, preserving the traditional architecture of Amazon cultures, using ancient construction techniques and local materials found in the rainforest. With a maximum capacity of 18 visitors, our exclusive cabins (private/shared bathroom) offer both comfort and safety to ensure your stay in the jungle will be a truly unforgettable experience.
Madidi Jungle Ecolodge offers boat transportation, comfortable accommodation, and a menu of delicious meals based on traditional rainforest ingredients. We provide a personalized service with the help of bilingual native guides (English and Spanish) who are passionate and knowledgeable about the rainforest. Our local guides will walk you through the Amazon Jungle around a labyrinth of trails to discover the exotic flora and fauna.
At Madidi Jungle Ecolodge, we believe in responsible eco-tourism as a means of supporting our indigenous families and spreading our commitment to respecting nature throughout the globe. Creating minimal impact on the natural surroundings, guests can go home with lots of wonderful memories and the satisfaction of contributing to an environmentally friendly venture.
